In Response to a Complaint.....

Someone complained about the last post. I won’t name any names. Let me just say, their name rhymes with “smaggie”. (Love you Mags!) Well, the complaint was that the blog did not include a picture of this individual with Sophie. So, in an effort to appease this certain someone I have posted all pictures of Sophie that include relatives who aren’t on the website yet.

Hope you all enjoy the new stuff! As for us, we’ve had a nice week. Last Thursday my cousin Vanessa came and stayed with us. She had a test the next morning for her CNA certification. She passed the test! It was great to see her and spend some time together. We did some shopping and went to lunch, and it was really a lot of fun.

Last night we went out to dinner with Danny’s cousins, the Fieldings, because Clark and Moranda will be moving to Southern California sometime next week, and we wanted to all get together before they left. It was great to see all of them, though we missed Breck and Lauren who weren't able to be there. It has been such a blessing to have family around here. They have all really helped us feel welcome and more quickly adjusted.

Last Saturday we went to the Scottsdale Mall. WOW! That is a BIG, FANCY mall! They have many "window shopping only" stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, etc... In fact, the only place we bought something was the Godiva Chocolate store, because we needed a treat for walking around that big mall all day! We had a lot of fun looking at all of the beautiful things for sale in the stores.
