Hello Everyone! And welcome to our new blog! On this blog we will post pictures and write updates about what we're doing at the time. The blog format will be easier to keep up than the other website where Danny first posted pictures of Sophie. So, don't bother checking that website anymore -- this is the one you want! First of all, let me begin with some information about the blog itself, for those of you who aren't 100% computer savvy like me (just kidding).

1. Blog is short for "web log". A weblog, "blog" is just a website that works kind of like a journal or diary, with different entries, called "posts".

2. All of these pictures can be clicked on to show you a larger version of that picture. Then, you can click on that big picture for an EVEN BIGGER picture! Wow.

3. You can send us your comments about the posts by clicking on "comments" at the bottom right corner of each post.

4. If you don't come to the site regularly and so have missed some posts, you can view all posts in the "archives" or "previous posts", located in the right hand column of the website. I'm sure this will never be necessary, since everyone will be anxiously checking the blog every day!

And now for the information you've all be waiting for...

How did we get from this tiny baby on top, to the chunky one on the bottom in just 2 short months?

Sophie in the hospital, 8 lbs, 10 oz.

Sophie yesterday, in cute Harley Davidson stuff from my Aunt Mary, around 11-12 lbs.

Here are some pictures to document what happened in between...

Sophie and me with my sisters-in-law, Keri and Jamie. Sophie was a little grumpy. And yes, we're all wearing pink, that's why we took the picture. And no, we hadn't planned it. And yes, Jamie and I have the exact same shirt on. And no, we hadn't planned it.

This was soon after coming home from the hospital.

Right after Sophie's first bath! Looking cute in her bighorn sheep towel from Grandma and Grandpa Karpowitz.

Hanging out with Dad. Here's something interesting -- just moments after this picture Sophie puked all over the place, narrowly missing the computer! It was her very first vomit -- aw, how cute!

Looking cute in an outfit from my Memere (Great-Grandma Bialy).

Looking cute in just a onesie. This was back when Sophie still had skinny legs. Now she has THUNDER THIGHS.

Both of our parents told us that babies can just sleep in a dresser drawer, you don't need any fancy crib or anything....so we tried it out.

Looking cute in an outfit I picked for her.

The three of us on the day of Sophie's blessing. (I really love the fire hydrant in this picture.)

Sophie and me on the day of her blessing.

With Grandma and Grandpa McCutcheon...

And with Grandma and Grandpa Karpowitz.

This picture is great for three reasons:
1. It's 4 generations of Karpowitz's
2. Sophie is showing off her gorgeous smile, and
3. Sophie is the only one who can keep her eyes open for the picture!

And last but not least, here she is sleeping in the laundry basket just after moving to Phoeinx.

So, I hope you all enjoy the pictures! There will be more coming, so don't forget to check back once a week or so.
