Week-and-a-half in Review

We've had a LOT of fun in the last week or so since the last post. Well, I guess not everything was fun. Sophie had her first round of immunizations a week and a half ago. She did so well! I'm the one that had a really hard time not crying. She was a little grumpy for a couple days, but we got through it. Then, last Thursday night we had the pleasure of being taken out to dinner by a company involved in a project Danny is working on at Honeywell. We went to the nicest restaurant either of us had ever been to. The restaurant is called Ocean Club, and it is up in Scottsdale. The menu is all seafood, and it was fantastic! We had a great time getting to know some people from Danny's job, and enjoying the great food and luxury atmosphere. Then, also on Thursday night, Danny's sister Keri and her husband Bryant came to visit us for the Memorial Day weekend. We did some shopping, eating out, and went to a Diamondbacks game. We had a great time, and were so glad they took the time and effort to come visit us. (See pictures below!) Now we've had a couple days to relax, and Danny's parents Jim and Nancy are coming to visit. They'll be arriving tonight! This weekend we'll all go down to Tucson for Danny's Mini Baja competition. So, make sure and check the blog next week, because I'll have some great pictures from the trip and competition.

I hope you all enjoy the new pictures!

Relaxing on Mommy's foot, of all places. (I was trying to be a little "artsy" on the digital touch-up of this picture. I like it...hopefully it doesn't look too weird.)

Sophie and Mommy!

Sophie trick #1-- sitting up! (with some help)

Sophie trick #2 -- standing up! (with some help, of course!)

Look at me -- I lost 200 pounds!!!!

Sophie and Daddy at the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Dodgers game on Saturday. We had so much fun!

A Sophie smile! Even though she's making a wierd face, it's still so cute. And, these smiley pictures are hard to get because she gets so distracted by the camera that she won't smile.

Until next time.......
