Thanks for all of the great comments! It's been great to hear from all of you who have commented, and I'm glad it's more clear how to do it now. Keep them coming! And, I'll try to respond to them with my own comments as well.
Well, Sophie and I had a great trip to St. George with my mom while Danny went desert bighorn sheep hunting. We had so much fun together just hanging out, talking, and playing with Sophie. And, my mom got a good look at St. George which was helpful for her. Danny's first weekend of the bighorn sheep hunt was mostly a chance to scout out where the sheep were...not an easy job as this included a 9 mile round trip hike up the steep San Rafael Reef. But, on his second trip which was last week, they hiked back up the reef and found a group with two big rams. He took one of the rams with one shot. This was a great experience for Danny. A desert bighorn sheep hunting permit is one of the hardest to get in North America and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The hunt was even more special as Danny's dad has spent the last 25 years as a major contributor in building the bighorn sheep herds in Utah. Hope you enjoy the pictures from the hunt!
In other news: Sophie now has her second tooth, and a cold, and an earache complete with fever! It's been awesome. She's starting to feel better today which is good. She is now pulling herself up on everything all the time, and trying to let go and stand up on her own. She seems convinced that she can take off and walk. She is also very into waving and clapping her hands, which is so, so, so cute! We've been spending our time playing, reading books, going to the gym, and sometimes taking naps.
Several people have told me they are in "withdrawals" from a lack of Sophie pictures. So, I hope you can all pull out of your painful withdrawal symptoms after viewing the pictures below. Caution: The Halloween pictures are SO cute it might be too intense!
The Bighorn Sheep!
Danny and his dad with the ram.
Yeah! She's excited about something.
Sophie loves to help me rearrange the bookshelves about 20 times a day.
This was so cute! I was in the bathroom doing my hair, and Sophie came crawling over and peeked her head around the corner, and she was wearing one of my shirts -- kind of.
Where is the baby? She's been attacked by retro stuffed animals!
Happy Halloween! Sophie dressed up like a beaver. The costume was originally Danny's first Halloween costume, made by his mom and grandmother.
Danny seems to think that Halloween is more for mommies than for babies...I have no idea what he is talking about!
Aunts Keri and Jamie came to visit and see the wild beaver.
Oh no! You caught me!

Sophie looks adorable as a beaver- I especially like the pink bow. I'm guessing that wasn't there when Danny wore the costume? :) We had a Hermione, Pippi Longstockings & frog at our house on Monday. They had lots of fun and the houses are so far apart in our neighborhood that mom doesn't have to confiscate too much candy this year (darn it!). Lisa, Tambi was out to visit this week with her baby and she said you sold the house! Hurray! Congratulations I am so happy for you! CB
